SBG Ireland is run by John Kavanagh – Irelands first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and first MMA fighter in the Cage.

SBG HQ on the Naas Road is a jaw-dropping new facility covering just under 10000sq ft! We cater for all those wishing to train in martial arts from kids as young as 4 to kids over 60!!

SBG Ireland is Ireland's first full time Martial Arts facility opening daily from 06.00 until 22.00. It has to be seen to be believed. Yes, we are home to UFC's Conor McGregor and a plethora of MMA superstars; Chris Fields, Cathal Pendred, Gunnar Nelson, Ais Daly but that is not all SBG is about. We are a BEGINNERS gym with a huge range of beginner friendly classes to suit all ages and fitness levels!

Conor "Notorious" McGregor fighter from this gym

is an Irish mixed martial artist. He is the current interim champion in the UFC's Featherweight division. McGregor is also the former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion and Lightweight Champion, an achievement which made him the first professional Irish fighter to hold titles in two separate divisions.
